VC Rocks Final Hop for 2012

Welcome to Loni's Life and the last stop of the final blog hop of the 2012 VC Rocks season!   It's hard to believe that summer has flown by so quickly!

In May, we kicked off the season with our Have a Heart Hop in celebration of this year's VC Rocks Charity of Choice - The American Heart Association.   The talented scrappers and stampers of VC Rocks have donated over $1000!   Yahoo!!

In June, we challenged the Rockers to create Any Size Cards for the hop; and in July we showcased our talents with Hostess Gifts and Non-Card items.    This month we're featuring projects made with punches, Big Shot, and Simply Scored!

If you've been hopping along, you've just arrived from Tricia's Stamping Creations and her adorable petite purse and matching card!   If you're friends, family, and followers, then you can continue to the top of the hop at the VC Rocks Home page and circle back around until you return here.

I learned to make these projects just this week at a class given by my wonderful upline - Jackie Ross-- a Founder's Circle achiever; a Cruise achiever; and just an all-around great person.

Punches: Blossom petal builder, bird builder, XL oval, Scallop oval, Boho blossoms, 1 3/8"  circle, 1" circle, 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle, and Itty Bitty shapes 3-punch pack

Stamps: Delightfult Dozen, Woodgrain

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive

Paper: Bashful Blue, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Basic Black, More Mustard

Other: Stampin' sponges; Stampin Dimensions; Aquapen; White gel pen

Along with the punch art project, we made a fabric carry case for travel size tissues; shown in Twitterpated.
My tutorial can be found here.

As usual, please leave a positive comment by 10pm Central on Sunday 8/19 for your chance to win a random drawing of goodies from Mocha's Blog Candy vault.   The cute blue-eyed feline will announce her winner on Mocha Monday :)

Many thanks to the talented Rockers who have made these Blog Hops a successful sharing of so much creativity!    You can continue to the top of the hop here where the wonderful Michelle McCarthy has provided a pair of simply adorable projects.

Though VC Rocks goes into hibernation mode until next spring, tune in next month for a Blog Hop with lots of familiar faces as the SU Stars hop comes off of Summer Vacation!

Hugs and Blessings,

Loni,
Your little cow card is adorable! I love it. Also liked the tissue holder. I don't sew much so don't know if I could do it or not, but it is cute.

I love them both. I may just have to try the tissue holder.

Can i just say I love you, lol! I am planning on making these tissue holders next for our church women's retreat and you just happen to have the tutorial right here and it looks pretty easy too. I was afraid to look for the tutorial until I was ready to start as I did not want to stress over how hard it will be, lol! I do not sew much. I love your punch art project too as I have a young teen in my life who has a birthday very soon and loves cows--you have helped me on both feel like I need to pay you something--talk about perfect timing! Wow. Now if I can figure out this crazy word verification life will be great!

Loni, first, I want to thank you for all you do for our blog hops every summer! And next, thank you for your cow card - I honestly need a cow card for a young man going away to college and this will remind him of his cows back home. And I am so thankful for your tissue holder tutorial - would you believe that my cardstock one in my purse fell apart just this morning! Guess i know what I will be doing this weekend while watching my NASCAR races here in Michigan since I decided not to go to the track this year. Thank you, thank you ...
He is adorable, I just love him. Oh and your tissue holder is the bomb. I am always looking for tissues. Thanks for the tutorial too. Now I just need to get to work and make one. LOL Until next year.

Operation Write Home Memorial Day Hop 2013

Operation Write Home Blog Hop Welcome to Loni's Life and a quick stop on the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop 2013 edition.    I am an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator and enjoy hand-stamping greeting cards for all occasions.  I realize that our military folks that are far from home don't have the convenience of a Hallmark store or card section at their local grocery store or convenience shop.   So I put my love of stamping to good use by sending OWH cards for our Heroes to use to send notes of love and care to their loved ones back home.  I know these Heroes enjoy picking out the cards for their loved ones and I know the loved ones back at home cherish each note or card they receive from their hero.    Based on OWH Sketch Challenge #171 Stamps: Million Dollar Moments (Spring 2013 Hostess set) Ink: Island Indigo Paper: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Not Quite Navy, Naturals White, Quatrefancy Specia...

Welcome to the Cards for Heroes 2009 Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop . This is stop #124 of 135. If you started somewhere in the middle, or from Cathy's Blog Crafty Thoughts or just happen to be visiting my blog, you can return to the top of the hop by clicking here . The Blog Hop doesn't officially kick-off until Saturday morning May 23rd around Noon PST, so you may want to hold off on your hopping until then. I am new to Cards for Heroes and jumped right in with both feet by joining the 2009 Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop. This will be another worthy outlet for some of my card crafting for charity. I'm not from a military family and don't have any Active Duty friends or family. The closest military person I know is my best friend's dear hubby is a retired Marine ( Semper Fi ). While I may not personally know very many military folks, I am like Demi Moore's character in A Few Good Men and am glad they are there "Because they stand on a wall and they say ...
