Oh my, the Wrath of Spring in Tornado Alley... while I am used to severe weather in spring in Texas.. I'm not used to just report after report after report of twisters on the ground. I was out of the office yesterday afternoon and spent it basically keeping an eye on the sky and the TV; checking internet radar and listening to Mocha try to escape from her crate since I had put us in hunker-down mode. It was a scary afternoon; lots of damage in various parts of the metroplex; but so far no deaths reported which is a miracle given the length of time some of the large twisters were on the ground. I checked in on the seniors to make sure they were awake and on storm watch. Also, in contact with Mama C so she would be paying attention to the weather; and finally sometime after 8:30pm the last of the peeps had checked in and was fine.
