Young Love

I was blessed today to get to witness two of my young friends, Sarah and Stewart, join their lives in marriage.  It was a beautiful ceremony with a great blend of traditional and modern contemporary.   I am sure that Sarah's cheeks must have been sore by the end of the day for she was rarely without a smile.   Stewart had plenty of smiles of his own.  I am happy for the pair of them and look forward to watching their love for one another deepen and grow. 

Totally Knitworthy

This is the reaction that says the time spent on this 4-month project was the perfect gift for a future vet student and owner of a female iguana named George.   It also confirmed that she is Totally Knitworthy. Sarah - Totally Knitworthy Sarah is the the fiancee of one of Harrison's best friends and I've had the pleasure of her company for several evenings at Mama's Oasis.   Morehouse Farm was having an online sale and when I saw this pattern again, I knew I just had to get it and knit it for Sarah.   It has traveled many miles in its journey from needles to delivery including Ft. Lauderdale, Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, and Grand Cayman. For the most part it was an easy project until the last 36 rows of Knitting Ninja time on the head.   I spent an evening in the Knitter's Frog Pond because my brain and my hands didn't agree on the stitching, so I had to rippit, rippit out a few times.   It might have also been a bit of pressure of beat the clock since I...
