It's not a trick, it's a real treat!   Today, I signed the dotted line.. well actually several solid lines to purchase a new-to-me home for Mocha and me.    This home fit all of my criteria for a place to heal and rebuild in a post-divorce world.    A single story with at least 3 bedrooms, hardwood or tile floor, open kitchen, and spacious bathrooms.   It's simply gorgeous and now to get finished packing and moved in!  

A sick elderly kitty and a broken Air Conditioner in the heat of North Texas are not fun! At least the A/C got repaired; blown capacitor; and was relatively inexpensive to fix. For the elderly kitty (age 15), I am guessing that Heaven may have another furry Angel one of these days soon... we can't get her to eat; the vet is perplexed; about the only thing we may want to try is force-feedings thru an NG tube and do we really want to put her thru all that... especially given that she's already a Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) patient too. In the meantime, we keep food down all the time, water bowls filled... but I think she may have had a stroke or just is having kitty cat memory-loss or whatever since now she will only drink off of the shower or bathtub floor.
