Create

I love to create with sticks and string AKA knitting.   In this case, I am working on a scarf for Mama C made in 100% silk yarn with sequins.  It is a bit slower going since I am applying a new technique I learned at a workshop with Gwen Bortner.   It is knitting backward - so one never turns the work - you work Right to Left and then instead of turning the work, you work from Left to Right.

My Drink of Choice

My drink of choice is usually Diet Coke or Coke Zero when available.

Heart

This Tazzy devil owns a piece of my heart...

Perfect

A perfect place to enjoy the natural beauty of Poipu Beach, Kauai Hawaii.

Out and About

Out and about outside of Ketchikan, Alaska via the Bering Sea Crab Fisherman's tour aboard the Aleutian Ballad.   One of the hidden treats of this tour was seeing so many bald eagles in nature.

Mistake

A mistake to leave Mocha and Tazzy alone with this box... but it looks like they enjoyed themselves!

I am

I am enjoying the Sochi Olympics while knitting and trying to get Tazzy to understand that he is not supposed to play with Mama's knitting.

Details

Hard to believe the paperwork for the divorce fits into manilla folders no more than 2 quarters high.  I picked these up from the attorney's office recently.  They were up to be destroyed by shredding; but I figured I had shelled out premium dollars for this work, that I ought to have it for my records.  Mainly handled it well, though a couple waves of deja vu hit me when I was in the conference room of that law office.

Water

Poipu Beach, Kauai Hawaii

Utensils

An Ulu knife that was Made in Alaska.

C is for Cats

C is for Cats of course!

Square

The many squares in a new lapquilt I received for Christmas and a Tazzy kitty that has claimed it as his for the moment.

Childhood

Something Orange

Orange isn't a normal color in my wardrobe... but a photo of one my cheetah jerseys from Team Cheesy Riders will fill the bill nicely.

Favourite

Today's Photo-A-Day prompt was Favourite... and I have lots of favorites... but here's one of my favorite photos that I captured of Hunter during our Alaskan vacation with Family in May 2012. Hunter - Train ride to Denali I'm blessed to be an adopted Auntie to this young man and grateful everyday that he is part of my family.

You

Once upon a time, I wouldn't have very many photos of myself to share... but here's a Selfie in St. Thomas from my Thanksgiving 2013 cruise. I'm grateful to have the Sparkle back that lets me have bright pink stripe in my hair with ease :)
