LNS Challenge 41

Late Night Stamper's Challenge #41 was a sketch challenge; I was playing with Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio and came up with this holiday card.

LNS 38 Chalk It Up

Late Night Stampers Weekly Challenge #38 was to use our Stampin' Pastels (chalks) Stamps: The More The Merrier (Hostess 3), Short & Sweet; Sassy Sparkles jumbo wheel  Ink: Versamark, Basic Black Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White Accessories: Stampin' Pastels (real red, brilliant blue, glorious green, sage shadow, pixie pink, yoyo yellow, lovely lilac); Melon Mambo polka dot grosgrain, large oval punch, oval scallop punch, stampin' dimensionals Technique: Poppin' Pastels  1]   Stamp the image with a white Craft Stampin' Pad or VersaMark ®  ink pad. 2]   Use sponge daubers to apply the pastel color directly to the ink. 3]   Blow off any excess powder. (Repeat this process if you are using this technique with a Two-Step Stampin' set.) QUICK TIP To avoid smearing, gently dab the chalk rather than rubbing it across the image.

I won!

I won a limited edition Stampin' Up! Build-A-Bear Workshop bear from the Fabulous Sherrill Graff from Late Night Stampers. These stinkin' cute bears were only available at Stampin' Up!'s annual demonstrator convention this year. I didn't attend convention, though it would have been fun, educational, enjoyable.. and did I say fun? However, I am opting, instead, to go to Kauai in January for two weeks to celebrate my Grandma's 98th birthday. Oh boohoo, boohoo; such a hardship to go to Kauai... NOT!!! I LOVE going to Kauai and the family time is a bonus too as my Dad is definitely going along with my BFF and and hopefully my StepMama and StepGrandmama too. If scheduling works out, possibly even my DH may be able to go; but his work schedule is sketchy plus it may depend on my MIL's health status at that time too. Here's some other terrific locations to check out Sherrill's great work! Sugar Doodle Ronald McDonald House Charities Late Night Stamper...

Crown

For my non-stamping blog readers... the crown in the side bar means that I have joined the Late Night Stampers' Royal Blog Tour , as one of the tour stops, running July 26, 27 and 28.   What is a Blog Tour?... well, it's basically like the Cards For Heroes Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop where I also participated as a blog hop stop (#124 at of over 130).  It's fun for me as a stamper and helped me to find my stamping mojo as it had gotten lost while my knitting mojo was going full force.   Now, I've found a way to do both :)  There will be four Tours of 20 talented stampers on each tour, so for my stamping and scrapping buddies it is a 3-day fest of oohs and aahs over lots of paper crafting.    I will be featuring projects using a new Level 3 hostess set, The More the Merrier .   If you choose to tour, and I encourage my stamping and non-stamping friends to do so, you will meet another talented "Loni" on the tour.. and no, it's not me using a different s...
