Polka dots

So much easier to catch photos if Tazzy's tiger stripes.... But here is a rare one if his polka dotted belly

Best Invention Ever

Window

My furbabies Mocha and Tazzy love the sunny windows in our home.  I'm grateful that I have so many windows in which to enjoy sunbeams!

Dinner

Dinner - in this case it is Fancy Feast cat food - Sea bass and shrimp for Tazzy the tabby and Alaskan Salmon for Mocha the siamese mix. Along with Meow Mix dry. They end up swapping plates about midway through their meal - even on days when I put the same flavor on both plates.    Grateful that my furbabies are happy and healthy and enjoy their dinner!

Something I Bought

Not something I bought today; but definitely the biggest purchase I've made on my own... the lovely house that shelters me and my furbabies.   I am grateful for this house that has become a home.

Fun Stuff!

Fun Stuff !   A multi-level kitty condo and pair of kitties! Grateful that my kitties actually use their kitty condo and the sale and free shipping from the pet store :)

Taste of Winter/Taste of Summer

This one took a collage since I couldn't decide on Taste of Winter or Taste of Summer.. so instead, I've shared both. Taste of Winter - The yummy gingerbread molasses cookies at Paradise Bakery. Taste of Summer - Shaved ice in Hawaii :) I'm grateful for the lovely bakers at Paradise Bakery and the opportunity to go to Hawaii for this icy treat.

Your Space

Your space Mom?   I thought it was "Our" space. This is my little pillow stealer.. he starts the night at my feet or snuggled up with Shaun The Sheep... but by the morning, he is up hogging the pillow.   I'm grateful for Mama C making me fun pillow cases!

Bedtime

Bedtime...   Tazzy would love to snuggle with Mocha, but she just isn't keen on that ideal... so he has to settle with snuggling with Shaun The Sheep.

Nice

Nice- The opportunity to share a piece of my favorite beach - Poipu Beach, Kauai - with a Hawaiian Monk Seal. Hawaiian Monk Seal - Poipu Beach, Kauai

Happy Place

Ketchikan, Alaska - May 2012... A happy place in spite of the rain!   Grateful for the cheesy photo ops at unboarding in ports of call on my cruise.   Also, that I got to share the experience with five of my favorite people was awesome!

Tiny

Grateful every day for kitty purrs from both Mocha and Tazzy. Today's Photo-A-Day prompt is Tiny.... and this is a photo of the tiny 7-pounder that the then unnamed kitten.   He's now a 9-pounder and has lost the kitten fuzz; but he's still as adorable as ever.

Sun

Grateful for sunshine and blue skies.. and the opportunity to experience these palm trees near one of my favorite beaches on Kauai.

Black and White

Today's prompt was Black and White.....so I took the photo on my phone in black and white mode.  Even if I had taken it in color, this Shaun The Sheep plushie that is one of Tazzy's favorite new toys is also Black and White.    I am thankful that my Tazzy still loves to play.

Three Things

Today's prompt was 3 Things... so here's 3 things that I saw on my Thanksgiving cruise on Carnival's Conquest.  Towel Animals, Guy's Burgers, and an iguana. I'm grateful and blessed to be able to travel and enjoy the whimsy of towel animals, the joy of yummy food, and the beauty of God's handiwork around the world.

Makes me Smile

I am very blessed and grateful in life in that many people, animals, places and things make me smile. But this compiled photo of my favorite "nephew" Hunter aka the Snarky College Boy or the Snarky One and my kitty Mocha invokes as smile -- as do both of them in real life. Who has the better 'Get that camera out of my face!' stare?  Hunter or Mocha?

Colorful

Today's prompt is colorful...   I am grateful to have a Quilter in the family and she surprised me with a colorful quilt for Christmas.   This is Tazzy making claim on it.

Looking Down

Thankful that my Tazzy returned to his perky energetic self after a few weeks out of his cast... though this new stunt gave me a panic attack with the wobbles at 6 feet off the ground.

Manmade

Manmade... or in this case Made by Women!    I had a great time in Sitka on the Wild Artist tour and pulling a glass cane.   I left the cane with the Artist along with a nominal fee to create both a candy dish and a set of earrings.   This came out so great!  Artists - Loni Holt & Michelle Barker I am grateful to have such functional pieces of art and that I was able to help with the creation!

Natural

I am very grateful to be able to visit the icy beauty of Alaska and not live there year round. Sawyer Glacier, Alaska; Sept 3 2013
