My hubby went out on patrol with Allen Citizens on Patrol (COPS), so I went out with one of my favorite babies for her first trick-or-treat. She makes such a cute Piglet. She was a little trooper and made it all the way around a very big block with a whole lot of steps to get to front doors. It was quite fun to go out with the kids and we saw many butterflies, bumblebees, and ladybugs along with the princesses, fairies, and superheros.

In addition to the projects I make for the kiddos of my many friends, I do some charity stitching mainly for preemies for Stitches from the heart. http://www.stitchesfromtheheart.org/ Here is a preemie sweater and booties; I think I may have to bust out some double-point needles (dpn's) and do the matching cap. In a race with the stork as the shower is this next weekend, here is a scan of Michaela's Cabled Baby Blanket... It's from Debbie Bliss's Simply Baby and was knit with Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino. The cables- a combination of garter stitch and stockinetee- were initially a challenge, but then quite relaxing.
